I would Have been an “Eco” or part of the “Ecos” if I were a schoolgirl at St.Trinian’s - I have no qualms with any of these looks. The look occupies a curious space between eco-warrior practicality and storybook eccentricity.  |
I have always had a great fondness for the Eccos in St Trinian’s, particularly the promotional photographs produced for St Trinian’s 2. There is something delightfully ramshackle about their styling: layers of upcycled clothing, jangling jewellery, mismatched textiles, battered accessories - and all. It reminds me of how I used to dress - when I had more of a “D.I.Y” sensibility to my dress.

P.S: I still “D.I.Y” clothes but I have found more elegant ways to do such.
